Free Update!

Spectrasonics has recently released a free update to their Keyscape Creative Library!

The Spectrasonics website has announced the release of the newly expanded 2023 edition of the Keyscape Creative library. The library features over 1,500 Omnisphere patches specially designed for users who also own Keyscape. The sounds were produced by renowned sound designer Eric Persing and showcase the creative work of Spectrasonics’ award-winning Sound Development team. The expanded library features a tremendous variety of stunning new patches, showcasing the power of combining the latest features of both Keyscape and Omnisphere. The Keyscape Creative library offers a wide variety of inspiring sounds for modern music production and is available now as a free update to all registered users.

I had the pleasure of going through all of the patches last night, and I have to say, I’m completely blown away! The Spectrasonics team never fails to impress. These are some of the best, if not the best piano-inspired sounds I’ve ever heard! There is truly nothing like it. Not only are the new Film Piano patches noteworthy, but the arpeggiated patches bring such a rich motion and a lush vibe and texture. There are also bass patches inspired by their new Felt Piano, which can be found in their new Keyscape update. The team at Spectrasonics has run these patches through their synth engine, making them suitable for modern productions while giving a unique organic texture and feel to the sound. Beyond that, there are beautiful pads with lush reverbs and delays. Each patch utilizes the mod wheel to add space, motion, filter sweeping effects, delays, and more. The Spectrasonics team has created these sounds with the composer in mind, making the sounds flexible and easy to use right out of the box.

The attention to detail is remarkable, and it’s evident that a lot of care was put into developing each patch. The diverse range of sounds ensures that there is something for every type of composition. Whether you’re scoring a film or game, producing a hit record, or creating soundscapes for your next ambient project, these patches are sure to inspire. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t already. Overall, the Spectrasonics team has knocked it out of the park once again with their latest collection of patches. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
